"I spoke w/ Mike in Casper and it is $1000.00 deposit to get on
their list. They sell for MSRP+$2000.00 in accessories." - LL

"The wife and I bought a brand new pair of Buell's at this dealer.
They treated us like gold, remember our names when we come in and have
always been real friendly. The two times I needed parts they had them in
stock (rare for Buell's). They stock about 20 or so bikes in Casper at any
given time. Only complaint so far is the 5+ week wait for Bag Latches for
my Buell...but that ain't their fault. Parts manager and Service Tech's
seem to know which end of the wrench goes where." - CG 4/01
"On the road traveling and developed a bad idle problem on my 2000 FLHRCI.
From Laramie I called Deluxe HD and asked if I could get in the following
afternoon. Was told no problem, it's only a 30 minute job with the
scanalizer to set the hot and cold idle on a FI. Pulled in to Deluxe at
3:00 p.m. Service manager wrote up the RO and told us to wait in the
showroom. 1 1/2 hours later I noticed the bike hadn't been touched but
didn't say a thing as we were enjoying the rest. 30 minutes later I needed
something from the bike and walked in the service department to get what I
needed. As I was walking back the Service manager came up to me and said,
"hey, did you get my message?" I said "what message?" He told me he
called my cell phone and left a message that they didn't have time after
all to do the 30 minute job. I looked at him, said "thanks a lot" and
left. Why he didn't have the guts to walk 40 foot into the showroom and
tell me rather than leave a message on my cell phone, which I never got is
beyond me. The Service manager was cocky and just plain arrogant. Sure
glad I don't have to deal with them on a daily basis. I wouldn't recommend
them to anyone, especially if you're on the road traveling." - RW 08/04 |

"They are an MSRP dealer. They have been around and have a
good reputation. I think they are quoting 12 to 18 months.
Call and talk to Jack Ross. He is a straight shooter. Of
course, you can always pay 8k over MSRP with another dealer and take the
suspense out of it." - DA 8/99
"I spoke w/ Tim and he seemed very nice and eager for my business.
They are a MSRP dealer. They need a refundable $200.00 deposit to get on
their order list. You tell them what you want (even color choice)
and when it is allocated to them they will order it for you. Up to that
point, you're deposit is refundable. It may take 12 to 18 months to
get your bike. If the guy ahead of you gives up his bike (and
$200.00) They will go down the line and offer it. If you didn't
order it...no obligation." - LL 1/00
"just picked up my new FXD at MSRP from Maverick this weekend. Super
honest, friendly, and helpful folks. The waiting list to get a new bike
is
rather long, but well worth the wait. This is the only place I will buy
accessories, service and my next bike." - DW 02/02
"After searching the Internet which seemed like eternity for a dealer that
would sell me a Harley @ MSRP I found Maverick Cycles in Cheyenne,
Wyoming. I live just north of Colorado Springs, Co and decided to take the
2 hour drive to actually see if it was true. I had the best experience at
a dealer in my life, no pressure, great owner (Jack Ross) and a new 2004
Wide Glide at MSRP. Although there is a list of first come first serve
I'll be more than happy to wait for a bike than pay the $1200-$4000 over
MSRP that every dealer in Denver and Colorado Springs is asking." - EB
10/03 "Under new ownership. My wait for an 05 Ultra last year was 4 months.
Around 12 06's on the floor for sale right now. 22 Sep 2005. Great service
manager. Whole place getting upgraded. New dyno on the way. Happy with the
changes." - JJ 09/05 |

"This dealership is on I-80. This store has an annual employee
turnover of around 90% because of the way their employees are treated.
All their techs & parts people have quit in the past six months and
they have no HD certified techs or parts people on staff. This store is
known for loading new bikes up with HD after-market parts and then selling
for 2000.00 over MSRP + after-market parts + labor to install. tee shirts
are sometimes purchased from unauthorized sources [not HD] and passed on
to customers. I don't know how HD allows this kind of stuff. it's the only
store in the area so the local HD riders are pretty much held hostage. If
you're passin' thru I would advise doing just that. pass on this tourist
trap." - GO 3/01
"Wife's 1999 H-D was dying going down the interstate. No
lights, no engine. Fortunately once she shut of the ignition switch
and turned it back on something several times she would have power again.
She called Green River H-D and they refused to look at it.
Told her to go to Salt Lake City, Utah." - NB 7/01
"Stopped on the way to WA to pick up some warmer clothing. The
girls offered me some coffee and were friendly. Lots of clothes and
accessories. Can't comment on the service or parts but they had a lot of
over chromed bikes on the floor with no price tags." - TH 10/01
"On the way home to Washington State from Colorado, I really needed a
new rear tire. We called H-D of Green River, WY, from Vernal, UT.
They had a tire and said they'd have someone change it when we
arrived. Not only did they change it, check wheel bearings, balance it and
change the oil/filter, but they did it in less than 40 minutes! The price
was about $20.00 cheaper than a similar job in Cheyenne a few years ago,
which by the way took over three hours. I was with six ridin' partners
who were also very relieved we didn't get stuck there for an extended
period of time. Kudos' to the Service manager, who I understand has
recently taken that position. I give them a two thumbs up." - S 06/02 "I blew a tire just south of Lander WY on my Electra Glide July 19. I
called AAA and had a wrecker take my bike to Flaming Gorge Harley in Rock
Springs. It was after six when I arrived. Service was closed but sales
was still open. They took my bike and said they'd get to it in the
morning. They gave me a ride to a motel where they had special rates. I
went back to the dealer the next morning at nine. They already had the
tire off the bike. I was out of there by 10:30 with a new tire. They
charged me $45.00 labor. May local dealer charges $68.00. I'd call these
people #1. It's nice to know there are dealers like this who give special
attention to people on the road and know the stress of breaking down away
from home." - SH 07/04 |
