"I stopped to look at some new bikes on the floor
and spotted a ruff looking 70`s model fx priced at $11,000.00 .The
salesman told me he could get more for my 79 FLH so I took it to them and
when I got there they said no floor space. I had my eye on a fat boy so I
said how will you trade. I think everyone at the shop looked at and
started my bike for an hour. The salesman told me they would trade for
$14,995.00 and my bike, I got a little pissed .A few days later I went to
mikes at Delbarton and bought a 99 heritage for MSRP and last spring I
sold the 79 flh for 8,000.00." - MD 12/99 "We just wanted to say that Cole H-D threw one fantastic party for the
V-ROD unveiling on Friday, December 09, 2001. The staff were more than
willing to put MY friends & I on any Harley That was on hand, by the way
it was the most Harley's I've ever seen on a dealer's sales floor. " - RH

"I have been a customer of COLE H-D since they opened, they have always
been nice & do a lot for the area. I have never been in a dealership that
has so many nice people & bikes. COLE H-D has always done whatever it
takes to put me on a HARLEY. I own 5, all 5 came from COLE H-D. I will be
a COLE H-D customer for life!" - SS 12/01 "On the to the 100th year celebration in Milwaukee my 2002 Fat boy started
slinging oil a LOT of oil. The Bike was bleeding and I was coated. I
headed for the closest dealer. I arrived at Cole H-D just after they
opened the doors. I go to the service writer and explain the ailment and
that I was traveling to Milwaukee. He walks with me to check out my bike.
I am told they do not have time to fix it, We could clean it off and see
were the oil is coming from but sense we do not have time to fix it the
warranty would not cover it. We have Service Work ahead of you. I asked to
talk to the Service Manager. He looked at my bike and told me, it would
take 2 or 3 days to fix my scoot. They had seen this problem before. It
would require removal of engine and a complete takedown. The Service
Manager suggested I just keep going to Milwaukee and keep it full of oil.
The next day J&E H-D fixed my scoot. It took them 30 minutes. J&E did what
I thought all Harley Dealers are supposed to do, Get a traveling bike back
on the road." - RC 02/04"I really wanted to give my business to my
Hometown dealer when trying to purchase a new 04 Ultra Classic. Have been
a Harley owner/rider for 23 years and have not just become a fan of
Harley's overnight. I talked with the saleslady at Cole's (whom was very
nice and helpful) about the purchase and she did everything possible to
make this deal happen, and even came in on her day off to try and sell me
the bike. Someone at the dealership didn't see that being honest about
things was the way to do business, so I took my business (out- of- state).
I bought my new Ultra at another dealer for MSRP (and the interest rate
that I should have had) and was treated fair and kind! The way I see it,
Cole lost a customer for life, and I got what I really wanted to start
with, a good honest deal at a good price." - BC 07/04 |

BENJY'S H-D
Huntington, WV

"Benjy's is one of the most outstanding Harley
dealers I have ever dealt with. the sales people are wonderful to deal with,
real one on one attention, and the service department is outstanding. I
drove from Louisiana to purchase my first Harley because of the great price,
they had the exact Fatboy that I was looking for, and also the friendly
service and sales staff. I would drive another fifteen hours one way to buy
another bike with them, they really are a fantastic example of a what a real
Harley dealership is!! thanks again Benjy's for the wonderful experience." -
WF 02/02 "Benjy's HD does not sell bikes for MSRP. They sell their bikes
off the floor and their prices are easily $4000 over MSRP. They also don't
give the 10% Hog discount." - JS 02/03 "I just bought a 2004 Heritage Softail Classic at Benjy's
for my wife. I was happily surprised that not only did they sell the new
bike at MSRP, but also gave us a very generous trade-in allowance for her
2003 XLH Hugger. Benjy's has recently expanded the size of their store and
is in the process of adding a motorcycle museum in the building next door."
- CH 03/04 "This dealership overcharges for everything. The bikes are
always marked up and I recently just got ripped off in the parts dept. What
should have been a 1.90 part they sell for 3.60 The mark all their parts
above the MSRP. What a rip." - BD 02/05 |
TRIPLE S H-D
Morgantown, WV
|
"Triple S has a beautiful, clean, new shop in
Morgantown. The staff are friendly & allow potential customers to wander
around the floor without shadowing their every move. Unfortunately, they
apparently want to pay off that pretty new building quick because all of
their bikes are priced over MSRP, at least $2-3k on the lower-end models,
and progressively more as you move up. They originally even tried to sell
Buells above MSRP, but I think they have given up on that. They no longer
put prices on any of their bikes, only payment amounts." - SM 08/04 |

"I called around to all the dealers here in WV and
found a 1999 Low Rider at MSRP. at B&B H-D. I talked to Delores and
she is the owner, she was very helpful and seemed to be up front. The
setup fee was $800.00 so the way I figure it this is $750.00 over MSRP
since most other dealers only charge $75.00 setup. Which is not to bad
considering some of the other Harley shops were $3000 over List. The
people at B&B were friendly and I did not have to wait the bike was
sitting on the floor." - DG 1/00 |

"I've been looking for a Sportster. I was passing
by and stopped in for a price. They gave me a price of $9700. That's
$2100 over MSRP. I'm thinking of becoming a dealer, it sounds like good
money! - HG 5/00
"Recently bought a 3-pack of EVO engines for $7500
even. Live about 4 hrs away and quickly arranged the deal via phone.
$1500 less than MSRP per H-D." - TC 03/04
