"I have dealt with HD of Northern Utah and HD of
Salt Lake City. Both dealers were very friendly and professional. Also,
both sell new HD motorcycles for MSRP. Both dealers give 10% HOG
discounts and will do so for each others HOG members." - RB 9/99 "Bought my bike here, a number of parts/accessories,
motorclothes, and use their service dept. The sales process was smooth
enough. I got the bike for MSRP, ordered what I wanted, only about 3-4 month
wait. Sales are only for Utah residents. Good selection of motorclothes,
fairly friendly staff. Fair selection of parts/accessories, some staff not
very user-friendly and not as knowledgeable as I've encountered elsewhere.
Some of the parts staff I try to avoid, as I typically have a negative
experience with them. Service dept, in my estimation, is excellent. In
short, the store is often more desirable than the staff. I actually prefer
to go to SLC when I can, but Northern Utah is my local dealer. No problems
yet, however, with service staff." - KA 05/02 "Ordered an 04 883 Custom last April, picked up in June,
paid MSRP plus set-up. Very helpful sales staff, no pressure, great
communication while we waited for it to come in. Just purchased an 05 Night
Train last week. Again, MSRP plus set-up. It was a bike they had on the
floor. When we called and said we were interested in it, the salesman took
the bike off the floor for us. Service dept has been excellent, quick
turn-around time, knowledgeable staff. Sales staff very friendly, greets us
by name. By the way, HD of Northern Utah and 3 of the other dealers listed-
Saddleback, HD of Salt Lake, and South Valley HD are all owned by the same
people. I have only purchased accessories and clothing from their other
stores, but all of them seem friendly and helpful." - GL 03/05 |

"They charge 1000 over MSRP and then add a 300
documents fee on top of the price. If you want the extended warranty they
charge 1200 for the 699 version. That's a laugh cause you can go to
another dealer and buy it for HD's price." - DS 12/99 "Excellent showroom with good variety of bikes. Fair
motorclothes dept, motorclothes staff friendly and knowledgeable. Parts not
as impressive nor helpful. No experience with service dept. Frankly, if I
lived in the area I'd probably make the small commute to HD of SLC." - KA
05/02 "Just want to say thanks for being 1 of only 2 dealers in
the state of Utah to take delivery of the military sales program. Excellent
customer service and very friendly/helpful staff. My experience with them
was just outstanding. Again thanks." - CM 11/03 |

"I have dealt with HD of Northern Utah and HD of
Salt Lake City. Both dealers were very friendly and professional. Also,
both sell new HD motorcycles for MSRP. I purchased my 99 FXDX from
HD of Salt Lake City because they could deliver quicker. I paid MSRP +
about $650 for shipping and dealer prep. Both dealers give 10% HOG
discounts and will do so for each others HOG members." - RB 9/99
"I ordered a 2000 Softail from HD of Salt lake. They order for 6
months on a set date. I ordered mine to come in March. You put a
non-refundable $1000 down. They charge MSRP plus between 600 and 750 for
shipping and set-up depending on the bike (They say the charge 750). I
ordered a red heritage and the price was 16,750 before all the state
taxes. I sold my bike before I expected to so I have been going nuts
without a bike. They knew that so, last week I went in and they offered me
a Fatboy someone else had bailed out on, black and red for 16400. That is
only 600 or so over MSRP. I took it. In the deal they also installed all
the extra junk I wanted for no extra labor charge and gave me a 10%
discount on that. I would highly recommend these guys they are very
customer oriented and go out of their way to help." - DS 12/99
"Definitely the premier dealer in Utah. Large store,
excellent showroom with good variety of bikes on display. Inconsistent
quality of sales staff--some are excellent and friendly, others seem to be
burdened by inquiries. Motorclothes selection, and staff, are the best
I've encountered. Very friendly and pleasingly knowledgeable staff in
motorclothes who know their stuff and are very patient and accommodating.
Adequate parts/accessories area, at least one staff member is comparable
to the excellent staff in motor clothes. Will always see a large variety
of bikes in the parking lot, as it seems to be a main stopping point. Sell
to Utah residents at MSRP. I've had no experience with their service dept.
I'd go there every time for purchases if it were a little closer to home.
An excellent dealership." - KA 05/02
"In 2002 returning from
Sturgis to CA. one rider on a shovel tossed his rear drive chain. We
arrived at the dealer at 10 to 5:00 told them of our problem. and they
took care of it right away! Charging only $50 bucks! Now for a dealer,
that's the best I have ever been treated! As we were waiting we were shown
the "race" bikes in the back, given the whole tour, felt pampered, and
respected. They didn't have to do as they did. To all riding through, you
HAVE to stop by and check them out." - MW 04/03
"I've been looking
for a Harley for the last few years, HD of SLC has always been very
friendly and helpful whenever I visited to ask more questions and look at
what they had. I have visited the other dealers in Logan, Ogden & Sandy
without anybody even looking at you, so I bought my '03 Heritage in SLC.
Couldn't have been happier with the way they treat their customers." - CF

"My shift arm was loose and it looked like the shop would have to remove
the primary or the top of the transmission to get to the shaft to fix it.
The service manager wanted to see if he could tighten it without taking it
apart. I had already tried that and I could budge it. He was able to fix
it in about 10 minutes. And he wouldn't charge me anything. He only
seemed interested in making me happy, which he did. Makes me trust them
enough to use them for future service needs." - DL 11/04 |

"Not a terribly impressive store. An extension of Las
Vegas stores into southern Utah, has small showroom, minimal motorclothes
and parts. Stopped, saw all there was to see, and was out in 5 minutes. No
reason to stop again." - KA 05/02 |
